Ending in England

We started our end in England by visiting the Imperial War Museum where we saw England's perspective on both world wars as well as a variety of other conflicts. Following this, we ventured back to the Borough Market (through which we had walked the previous day) where we enjoyed lunch. Hereafter our paths diverged: Theodore and the author went to the British Museum while mom and Maryrose walked to King's Cross station where they were joined by many other Harry Potter enthusiasts on the pilgrimage to Platform 9.75. From there, they took an iconic red double-decker bus to Hyde Park where they went shopping in Harrod's. While they were engaged in spending their time and money on these ventures, the author and Theodore were contemplating the finer points of Chinese porcelain manufacture and other bits of essential historical tidbits. After reuniting at our pub of residence, we were nearly buried alive under our dinner of bangers and mash, lasagna, and burgers. (NS)
